Program Objective: The ASI Medical Assisting with Coding and Office Administration program is designed to expose students to both the clinical, administrative and office technology aspects of the medical profession.  topics covered include; anatomy & physiology, medical terminology, law and ethics, clinical and applied phlebotomy, clinical and applied EKG, HIPAA compliance, asepsis, infection control, cardiac arrhythmias, venipuncture, ICD-9, CPC coding, Insurance billing, QuickBooks, and basic accounting principles.

Prerequisites: High School Diploma or GED
