Medical Assistant with Coding and Administration
Program Objective: The ASI Medical Office Manager program is a combination of our Medical Coding and Billing with Office Administration, Certified Clinical Medical Assisting and Automated Bookkeeping with Administration modules. The Medical Billing and Coding with Office Administration module is designed to prepare you for a multitude of task and entry level job titles in the medical field in addition to those of a Billing and Coding specialist. Offering basic Microsoft Word and Excel allows for greater employment flexibility when coupled with our core curriculum of Medical and Billing and accompanying subjects.
The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) training Module is designed to prepare students for the highly in demand job market of a skilled allied health professional. At the completion of this compressive program students will be prepared to take the National Heathcareers Association (NHA) certification exam. This nationally recognized certification allows students to pursue careers in hospitals, medical offices, specialized labs and clinics. The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program is designed to expose the student to all aspects of medical assisting including; Phlebotomy, EKG, patient care, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology. Throughout the program students will be exposed to practical real world experience in drawing blood, performing EKG’s, and recording vital signs.
The Automated Bookkeeping module will provide the student with an understanding of basic accounting terms and principles along with the two most widely used computerized accounting software packages used in business today; QuickBooks and Peachtree. Additionally, as a registered member of the Microsoft Partner Program (ID # 2177301), ASI Career Institute, LLC is able to offer students expert instruction in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Students completing this module and mastering the various aspects of the Microsoft Office Suite covered in addition to the various bookkeeping and accounting applications can apply for a variety of administrative, data entry and secretarial, accounting and bookkeeping positions.
