Topics covered include launching a CAD program, various CAD menus, utilizing operator interfaces, familiarity with screen layouts, drawing procedures, universal function keys, 2D drawing commands, file management commands, setting drawing precision, tradional input systems, editing commands and features, setting and using layers, penetrating drawing information, beginning to block creation, hatching, opening to dimensioning techniques, drawing pattern creation, object snaps, display management commands for object presentation, fundamental editing techniques, text footnote creation and usage, fundamental platting techniques in model space and with paper space layouts, and page and plot style tables.
