Program Description: The Dental Assistant with Radiology program familiarizes the school's students with the sequence of clinical operations in a dental office. The Dental assistant plays a key role in delivering patient care in the contemporary dental office. This school's program is taught through a combination of lecture, lab and clinical exercises in a dental treatment room environment. The second portion of this program covers the administrative aspects of a dental office including the insurance billing and dental coding of procedures and conditions along with generalcustomary office procedures.
Program Prerequisites: High School diploma or GED.
