MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING
                        WITH ADMINISTRATION
                            
        Program Objective: The Medical Billing and Coding with Office Administration program is designed to prepare you for a multitude of task and entry level job titles in the medical field in addition to those of a Billing and Coding specialist.  Offering basic Microsoft Word and Excel allows for greater employment flexibility when coupled with our thorough core curriculum of Medical and Billing and accompanying subjects. Irregardless of prior experience ASI’s Medical Billing and Coding with Office Administration is intended to get you started on your career in as quick as ten weeks. Program Description:  As an 8 week class Medical Billing and Coding with Office Administration emphasizes skills in ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS medical billing and coding, Anatomy and Physiology (A & P), protection of patient's privacy of health information HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), CMS-1500 insurance claims for m submission, and electronic billing using Medisoft. As well a thorough understand of medical billing and coding you are also taught the latest in automated computer technology allowing you the ability to offer perspective employers a cross trained and well rounded employee able to compliment any department within the medical office setting.

Program Prerequisites
: comprehension of the Windows operating environment is a benefit but not a requirement to complete this course.

       Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 weeks)
      
Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM (8 Weeks)
